Tomorrow’s Food Intake Wednesday, May 30 2007 

diet.jpgI have worked out a meal plan for tomorrow from the CSIRO diet:

BREAKFAST – 200g low fat yoghurt, apple

LUNCH – chicken sandwich – 100g chicken, 50g cheese with cabbage and a tomato.

DINNER – beef dish with 100g beef and veggies with a soy sauce.

 The CSIRO Diet is not that big on snacks and I am used to having them so it will be a test tomorrow. They say 5 or 6 small meals are best but I find it makes me think about food more than I should so just eating 3 times might reduce the food thoughts.

Worked out 5 times at Curves Saturday, Apr 28 2007 

Well, I have worked out 5 times at Curves so far and I am really enjoying it! The machines are fairly easy to use, I find the ones that work the upper body easier and I enjoy them more. The ones that work my stomach and side muscles, my body doesn’t like one bit! They are so weak but hopefully they will gain strength in the next few weeks. I am finding it much easier to go up hills. I have to climb a steep hill twice a day to take and meet my son at the bus stop when he goes to school and it is much easier since I have been doing Curves. My weight this morning was 110.7 which is lower than I have been for ages!

 I have had my breakfast and lunch today with no Morning Tea. I will have an apple for afternoon tea and I will have vegetable soup for dinner which I made a couple of days ago!

Signing up for Curves gym tomorrow! Wednesday, Apr 18 2007 

Well after months of being stuck at the same weight, I have decided to give Curves a go. I am going there tomorrow for my first appointment. I can’t wait!

 I have cooked a lot of meals from Symply too good to be true cookbooks and frozen them so I have all my dinners just ready to be heated up every night. Plus I have a sandwich for lunch, toast for breakfast, vitaweat for snacks and jarrah extreme choc drink at only 55 calories per serve. I have been losing weight over the last 3 days following that diet so I am happy!

I had my official weigh-in today and I had lost 3 pound. This brings me to 17 stone and 7 pounds. So I have lost half a stone since the beginning of the year…

What I have had today Monday, Mar 12 2007 

Breakfast

Peanut butter soy and linseed toast

Snack

2 vitaweat with 10g reduced fat cheese

Lunch

Chicken laska with half a cup of rice

Snack

2 lamington fingers

5 grapes

2 vitaweat with 10g cheese

2 spoons of sustagen instant pudding powder

Dinner

50g roast beef

50g roast potato

2 Yorkshire pudding

Weigh-in for Feb 23 Friday, Feb 23 2007 

I weighed in at 112.4 kilos this morning, That is a loss of 1.1 kilos since Wednesday.

I had some chocolate bunny and a chocolate drumstick ice cream from Aldi yesterday but I still lost because I compensated for it. It can be done, you can still have treats and lose weight!

I am having chicken laska for lunch and dinner today, I have planned out my menu.

Breakfast
22 grapes
2 soy and linseed toast with 1 and a half teaspoons of peanut butter

Snack
4 vitaweat and cheese

Lunch
chicken laska (100g chicken) and 75g (cooked) rice

Snack
1 orange
1 apple

Dinner
same as lunch

Snack

tablespoon icing sugar
2 teaspoons of cocoa
2 teaspoons of margarine

Made a yummy meal Friday, Feb 16 2007 

I have made a yummy meal for lunch and dinner, porcupine meatballs. That’s mince meatballs with rice inside with a tomato sauce and garlic. I tried to put less beef stock in to try and lower the salt content but I am way over today. I read on CK that the salt intake shouldn’t be more than 2500mg and I am over 4000mg today. It is so hard to keep my salt intake down. Also the only way I can drink milk is to put cocoa in it and I have run out of cocoa so my calcium intake is low again today. I am doing ok for exercise though! By the end of the day I will have done 26 minutes maybe more. I have to be on a train for 5 hours tomorrow so I will have to plan my eating well. At my destination I will have access to a microwave for lunch so I will be able to heat a meal up so I’m happy with that. I might try and cut down my dinner tonight as I have had an extra snack this afternoon. We shall see…

Lunch time! Wednesday, Feb 7 2007 

I ate rice with spinach and onion with a satay sauce for lunch. I am so tired but I don’t want to go to sleep so I can sleep tonight! I still haven’t decided whether or not to pick up my son from the bus stop or let my Mum do it. I don’t feel very well at all. I decided not to go to the dietgroup because I felt so sick so maybe I will have a 2 kilo loss to report next week, forget the maybe! I WILL have a 2 kilo loss to report!

The Day’s progress Monday, Feb 5 2007 

My day has gone well today, I have kept to my calories. We used to have dinner in front of the TV but now we are have just started to have dinner at the dining table. It feels more natural and my son can talk about his day better. There is not much time during the day when my son talks to me, usually he just talks when it is bedtime so I am pleased that he has another time when he can talk.

I am making spaghetti bolognaise for dinner, I will have to weigh out my portion so I don’t have too much.

I had soy and linseed toast with PB for breakfast, beef tortilla stack and rice for lunch and 5 vitaweat with PB for afternoon snack.

 I better get started on this spag bol!

Menu Change – Dinner Sunday, Feb 4 2007 

I didn’t have chicken, cheese and carrot for dinner, I had chicken, cabbage, carrot with a curry sauce and rice. All up I worked out I have had 1025 calories today. I feel pleasantly full at the moment. That is a nice feeling. I don’t feel stuffed but I feel like I have had enough. Usually when I have something to eat, I could always eat more.

I’ll wait a couple of hours for the food to metabolise and then get on the scales for my nightly weigh-in.

 Oh and The Biggest Loser is on tonight. I love that show! Can’t wait for it to start…

Afternoon Snack: 2 vitaweat and peanut butter
