CSIRO diet books Monday, May 21 2007 

I am going to be reading the CSIRO diet books later this week when I get my hands on a copy of them! If I can find a way to give them a go I will. Apparently they are high in protein and dairy and I love meat and dairy! I also am not addicted to bread or potatoes, i will be able to limit these quite easily so I guess the diet is worth a go! My only concern will be the expense. I have ordered a hindquarter of beef which will be delivered this Thursday and I am going shopping on Saturday so I will be able to shop for ingredients. I might make meals and freeze them if the recipes can be frozen!

 I am feeling quite full at the moment, I had steak with cheese and bread for dinner and now I don’t feel like eating at all but I am not stuffed, you know what I mean? I have had about 1300 calories today. The weight I lose over the next couple of days will determine my weight loss for the week, as this morning I was about the same weight as last Wednesday which is my official weigh in day.

Trying to lose weight before the weigh-in tomorrow Wednesday, May 9 2007 

I have tried really hard today, I have to lose 900 grams before tomorrows weigh-in. I have been to Curves and I have cut my calories. I’ll see what the scale says tomorrow!

Bit of a blow out Wednesday, Feb 7 2007 

Ok I have just had some icing, I had 2 tablespoons of icing sugar with a bit of cocoa and butter. I felt bad after eating it but I have just calculated my calories for the day and I have had 1003 and I don’t feel hungry at all, I am all hot and yuck from my temperature and I should be able to have fluids for the rest of the day…

What was on the menu today? Saturday, Feb 3 2007 

Breakfast: 1 small carrot (41 cal), 30g of rump steak, cooked in saucepan without oil (57 cal)

Morning Snack: 1 small tomato (11 cal)

Lunch: soy and linseed peanut butter sandwich (225 cal)

Afternoon Snack: 1 granny smith apple (43 cal)

Dinner: 8 homemade hot chips, 125g cooked basmati rice, 1 tablespoon of sweet chilli sauce (274 cal)

Total Nutrients: 651 cal, 14.4g fat, 2.1g sat fat, 26.8g protein, 11.6g fibre, 24.6g cholesterol, 675mg sodium, 40.9g sugar, 46g calcium

Please let it be known, I have had a very light day with my diet today, It is not a normal day, although I am still trying to find a balance as my normal diet doesn’t lose weight. I have been very careful today, a sort of half fast day.
