I haven’t lost any Monday, Mar 26 2007 

I went to a buffet restaurant last Wednesday and ate too much. Then I went to a BBQ on Saturday night and didn’t do too badly, I had meat and salad and a little dessert. There was a nice chinese cabbage salad in it with dried noodles in it. I think that would have been a bit fattening and I might have had a bit too much of it. But I didn’t eat my son’s leftover t-bone steak.

 On Sunday there was a lunch at church and I ate too much, I mean I really overate. Which means my weight is up from last Wednesday’s weight of 111.8. I am just trying to get down to that weight so I stay the same!

So thats how things are: Its been a food oriented week…

Not sure if I’m losing weight Saturday, Mar 17 2007 

It’s that time of the month and I’m not sure what effect that is having on my weight loss. We went shopping today and I have a few chocolate eclair lollies that I shouldn’t have had. But my calories and fat are still within the limits…

Lost 2 pound! Wednesday, Mar 14 2007 

cat-and-duck.jpgI lost 2 pounds at my official weigh in today! I am 17 stone 9 pound now. (112.0 kilos on my scale)

I have had a restaurant meal of hamburger and chips today though so my fat intake is way up today. But I will be extra good in the coming days. I have had my treat for the week and I don’t feel deprived. And next week we are going to an all-you-can-eat restaurant so I will have to watch it there too. I think next time I will order just the salad when I go to that particular restaurant again, it is yum and more healthy.

What I have had today Monday, Mar 12 2007 

Breakfast

Peanut butter soy and linseed toast

Snack

2 vitaweat with 10g reduced fat cheese

Lunch

Chicken laska with half a cup of rice

Snack

2 lamington fingers

5 grapes

2 vitaweat with 10g cheese

2 spoons of sustagen instant pudding powder

Dinner

50g roast beef

50g roast potato

2 Yorkshire pudding

Weight stable Saturday, Mar 10 2007 

My weight is stable for now. Hopefully I will have a loss next Wednesday.

I am having chicken strogonoff for dinner tonight.

 My son is at a sleepover so it should be a bit easier tonight not eating his leftovers!

Official Weigh-in – Stayed the same Wednesday, Mar 7 2007 

Ok I stayed the same again! But I will do better next week, I actually lost a quarter of a pound on the scales but it still stayed the same weight as last week 17 stone 11 pound.

 I have had under 1200 calories today but it doesn’t feel like it, I’m not sure if I have remembered everything I have eaten but I have definitely eaten under 1500 cals.

I will see what happens tomorrow!

Stuck to it and I’m down! Monday, Mar 5 2007 

I entered all my food in the Calorieking software yesterday and I only ate what I was supposed to and I am down 2 pounds! It make me more determined to do it again today! I have entered everything and I will see what happens today!

 I was 249.2 pounds this morning.

My Scale Obsession will never fade! Sunday, Mar 4 2007 

Well, I put the scales away for about 36 hours. I was 249 pounds before I put them away and when I got on this morning I was 251.2 pounds. I hate to think how much I would have weighed if I hadn’t got on until Wednesday. No, the only way I can keep my weight under control is to know what I weigh!

I’m confused Saturday, Mar 3 2007 

I’m confused. The Calorieking software says I should eat so many calories a day but when I do I don’t lose weight but if I eat too few calories I don’t lose weight either. I am going to have to experiment with my intake! Its not like I eat a lot either.

 I threw out the icing sugar as it was too tempting. The only tempting things in the house now are my son’s chips and shapes that he has for school but they have been put away and I don’t think about them because I know they are off limits. I was having the icing sugar every day. I would get a tablespoon or 2 and some margarine and some cocoa and have chocolate icing.

I am supposed to be in a race to lose weight this week with another member of my siet club but I am going to lose I think. I lost 50 kilos in 1992 and I am trying for the life of me to think how I did it?? I don’t think I ate a healthy diet to do it. So I guess that option is out! I think I will work on my menu for tomorrow tonight…Better get to it!
